As a black woman I feel as though we are given lesser value than other women by black men. Why is that? (I just want to understand this through an intellectual black male's perspective)

I personally don’t believe black women are given lesser value than other races of women, by black men. I think the issue, if there is an issue, is that the black woman’s value in society often tends to be one of a sexual and physical nature; as opposed to society praising her for her intellectual qualities.

I don’t know if you’re American but, here—on a larger scale—black men are dating black women. Lastly, I think too many black women harbor a lot of insecurities and ideas of inferiority, especially some of our more overtly dominant ones. Black men love you, and we recognize your superiority. We just haven’t learned how to show it yet.
